Quitting smoking, weight gain and a healthy life style?

I want to quit smoking and i am concerned about weight gain. I already excercise about an hour a day, drink lots of water 2 -3l a day,and eat healthy.
What do you think my chances are of gaining weight?

Very slim if you’re active. I quit smoking years ago and began a healthy lifestyle. What helped me was chewing sugar free gum when i was bored intead of eating which is what most ex smokers do when they can’t smoke.

  2. Honestly its possible. As smoking speeds up the metabolism. When you quit you may not metabolise food as well. I must stress, this doesn't last forever, and a bit of planning will mean an extra kilo or two might come on. But its not an excuse for a blow out.
    Once your body adjusts if you have gained weight you should be able to get rid of it.
